The Fremans

An 06IP group of four girls who gather after classes to go to Ministry of Education Language Centre (MOELC) at Bishan together for their classes, which supposedly start at 2.30pm. Two of them take French, while the other two take German. That explains the Fremans (Fre for "French", mans for "Germans").

Chuyun

  • German girl
  • Most of the time called by Charlyn as "Chubsie"
  • Most notably having her blog and profile in German. No one understands except herself of course!
  • Rich girl. Taking cab is her favourite hobby. And it's really fun watching the variety of wallets she uses whenever she takes out money to pay taxi uncle.
  • Always has Breadtalk in her GERMANY bag.
  • She's a thief! Steals Charlyn's wallet. Still not ashamed of it, sigh

Charlyn

  • French girl
  • Famous for losing her wallet, YET always finding it back again! (Subway, Popular, MOELC Canteen, Yoshinoya)
  • Other than that, she rocks! (NONSENSE!)
  • The SBS 410 Bus Uncle hates her, and expresses it by not stopping the bus even though the bell is pressed, resulting in the Fremans being late late late

Melissa

  • French girl
  • "Melpang" by Charlyn
  • Always pang-seh the Fremans by leaving for MOELC by herself. How selfish!
  • Seen with her La Famiglia shirt even though she is not from 05IP!
  • Super cute with her hairclips

Eugene

  • German boy... uh girl... uh...
  • Known as their "jie mui" (with him insisting it must be "mui" not "mei")
  • Loves to warp people's photo with his handphone
  • The one who gets the Fremans late - hates going for German classes and hence, forces the others to take the bus (156) from NJC when it's already 3pm; he also forces them to walk slowly down The Road, causing them to be even later
  • Often pays for cab rides, reason being that he's why they're late
  • Frequently skips German lessons, causing Chuyun to be without entertainment!
  • Owns the Gossip sessions after classes

After classes

Seen at Junction 8's McDonald's or Subway around 4.45pm for their usual Gossip Session led by their leader, Eugene. Always seem to have things to talk about and have seen couples on secret dates thinking no one will see them since Bishan is quite far from Bukit Timah.

Notable events

  1. Bus 410 ignored their "Bus Stopping" sign and refuse to drop them off at MOELC. Instead, it drove on to Catholic High, Eugene's formal school. It was raining and sadly, they had to... cross the road and take another bus back.
  2. That day was also the day they broke a record, arriving in class at 4pm. (Class ends at 4.30pm)
