History of IP
See main article: History of IP
Intergrated Programme(IP) began it's rather 'humble' beginnings in January 2004 from a small building called "Greenwood Block". To the IP students, it is better known as the TC block, though they probably have no idea of how TC came about. Located at the extreme corner of the National Junior College campus, where banana trees seem to florish, the pioneer batch of IP inhabitants experienced 80% of their first 2 years engaging in meaningful, exciting projects and presentations that their energetic teachers provided.
6-Year IP
Since circa 2009, NJC has restructured the IP by introducing the 6-year IP programme, although it was clear long before that the College was planning to extend admissions to Primary 6 students. As of 2010, the last group of IP students entering at Secondary 3 will be accepted. Henceforth from 2011, only students graduating from Primary 6 will be considered for IP.
Class Logos
We have our very own Class Logos for all IP classes starting from i01 to i05. These are intentionally simplistic so we can draw them if we want to! For example, instead of writing "04IP03" on our notes, we can simply draw the "i03" logo! It'll be really unique.
